Starting as a DJ in 1979, Manny started in radio and moved on to performing at clubs and private parties. Moving to San Diego in 1985, he worked at several local clubs in the San Diego area and then for several DJ companies in the area. He started InSane Diego Productions in 2002 with one simple philosophy "give our wedding and corporate clients something personalized, unique, and memorable."
In 2007, to provide better services that he and his team provide to wedding and corporate clients, he separated and renamed the company into two divisions: Memories and Music Entertainment (Weddings), and San Diego Creative Corporate Entertainment (Corporate Events). This allowed for better expert service to be provided to customers wanting entertainment in both these areas. "Weddings and corporate events are all we do, and we work hard in continuing to be experts in both these areas".
Now a leader in the wedding and corporate entertainment industry, he developed a formula for creating performance success called "Take Something Old and Make It New Again!" He presented this formula for performance success at the Mobile Beat DJ Show in Las Vegas, NV. in February of 2008. He will share his secrets for performance success again this year at the Mobile Beat Chicago Show in July 2008 with many future presentations and workshops planned for later this year.
"My biggest joy as a mobile entertainer is to see the smiling faces of our clients from the time they book us, the planning meetings before the event, and especially the day of the event. Weddings especially are once in a lifetime events, and being a part of making that day a memorable time for everyone is the most rewarding part of being a mobile entertainer. The best thing about this business is that we donít just book clients, we make friends that last for many years after the event is done."
As you may have guessed, David is not only part of the Memories and Music Entertainment team but one of Manny's younger siblings. Starting his training as a DJ/MC in 2003, David was a big part of developing "Take Something Old and Make It New Again!" "David was a big part in developing the "4 Cornerstones" which is part of the "Make It New Again!" formula" stated Manny. "I needed a way to train new DJ/MC's in making every guest feel involved and in personalizing each event. David was a big part of that success, and the development of our formula for performance success, and a big reason for us being able to grow as we have."
David has even developed interactive routines that are incredibly popular with both our wedding and corporate clients. One of our wedding clients has even described David as "that really cool guy that everybody warms up to quickly," and "he is so passionate about knowing everything we needed". David stated "I always look forward to meeting with our wedding couples to see what ideas they have for their events. I really enjoy helping them realize the vision they have for their special day. Sometimes I ask myself if I am supposed to have this much fun?"
David is married to wife Sandra and has one son Carter, and a new baby girl Madeline.
Frank has been a DJ/MC for about 17 years, and is very knowledgeable in other aspects of the wedding industry. Starting out in radio, he moved on to working with other DJ companies in the area, and joined the Memories and Music Entertainment team in 2004. "I believe that the formula we created to make every event unique and personalized is the best way to make every wedding and corporate client feel special." Frank's experience allows the Memories and Music Entertainment team to always ask "what's new?" and "what can we do better?"
Frank skills as a DJ/MC/Entertainer has translated into his other passion of aviation. An accomplished flight instructor, he understands that just like flight students "each person is different and unique." Frank says, "Each one of our wedding couples and even those companies that hire us to provide entertainment for them each has a different vision of what they want. You can never treat them the same"
When asked, Frank said the most rewarding thing about being a DJ/MC/Entertainer is that "you get to be a part of a moment that is once in a lifetime. You get to contribute to bringing everyone together so that the memories they share will last for years."
